hyperlinks in a workbook- return a sheet and cell other than indicated

Upon inserting a spreadsheet in a new tab my hyperlinks broke. I removed every hyperlink, but upon reentering new hyperlinks to an instruction page all of the links go to the wrong tabs and the wrongs cells. I can't find any pattern to the wrong locations. The pop up indicates that the path is correct, but the path indicated is not the path returned. Help, I can find no solution to repair this problem.
