Hyperlinks in Notes and/or To-Do Items

I am wondering if it's now possible to add hyperlinks to Notes or To-Do items in Entourage 2008. I have 2004, and before I upgrade I'd like to know this. This capability isn't listed in any of the new features lists I've seen. I have frequent occasions when I'd like to save a web page as part of a note or to-do and have it be a hot link. Of course you can paste the URL into the note, and then cut and repaste it again when you want to go back to the same web page again, but this is archaic.

Doe anyone have any good ideas on this topic? I've read a lot in the forums regarding the fact that you can't easily insert a hyperlink into an email message, and have seen the arguments against html formatted email. However, there can't be a good excuse for not being able to use links in notes or to-dos. The arguments about a limited development budget wouldn't so bad, if the timing between releases wasn't four years.

Thanks for any help.

Why would hyperlinks in notes and to dos be given a higher priority than
hyperlinks in e-mail messages, where this feature is required the most?
Anyway, no, there's no way to insert live hyperlinks into notes and to dos.
However, you can insert the URL and then Cmd-click it to make it behave as
if it were a live hyperlink. Also, if you want to link a note to another
element in Entourage, such as a contact, you can use the Link feature that's
always been part of Entourage.

I'm not trying to apologise on MacBU's behalffor any lack of feature, but
keep in mind that this release was in the works for an exceptionally long
period because the entire code of every Microsoft Office application had to
be rewritten in Xcode due to Apple's move to Intel processors.
