Hyperlinks restricted in Outlook 2003 received mail

Others have asked this but I haven't seen an answer.

Upgraded a 'normal' Outlook 2000 install to 2003 this
week. Now hyperlinks in emails (e.g. ebay, etc.) won't
open IE - I get the 'restricted' prompt.

As others have done I've checked some suggested registry
values, tried resetting all security and script levels
to 'low' and none of this helps.

My suspision is that my mozilla firefox 'trial' a few
months back didn't clean up when I uninstalled it but
that's just a guess. Especially remote when Outlook 2000
hyperlinks worked fine just before I upgraded to 2003.

Any hints?

Firefox set as default can cause some problems but I haven't seen this
problem. It sounds like a security level problem.
Ensure IE is set as the default browser then check your URL File
associations.
