hyperlinks save file versus link

Gotta be a setting I changed but for the life of me, I
cannot see what I have done. For the past couple of
weeks, when clicking on a hyperlink in an open outlook xp
email, instead of taking me to the web page, the save
file as option pops up. Is this a setting that I have
changed somewhere?
