Hello,

I feel pretty stupid posting this but how can I create a hyperlink in
OneNote hyperlink style?

I like to write notes in the form...

<note>
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah LinkToSomeThing Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah
Blah.
</note>

I can't figure out how to make that link all I can do is

<note>
Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah www.linktosomething.com Blah Blah Blah Blah
Blah.
</note>

Which isn't quite what I am looking for.

Anyone?

if you mean like an href, you can't create them in ON, only paste them in
from other documents.

Do you mean like hitting Ctrl-K in other Office programs? You cannot
create them directly in OneNote.

That's exactly what I mean. It seems kind of stupid that it understands
the construct but is unable to create them.

Stupid is such a harsh word. :)

The scenario we were trying to enable/fix in SP1 is "(While doing web
research) copy some HTML containing hyperlinks into OneNote". Unfortunately
the additional work to integrate the Office "edit hyperlink" dialog (and,
perhaps even more importantly, the ability to link to locations _in your
OneNote notes_) didn't fit in the SP. We'll certainly be working on both of
those features for a future release.
