I have MS Project 2003. I added notes to most tasks, and now can't open the
project. The error message indicates I've reached the 1,048,000 size
limitation. It's not a huge project, I wonder if anyone else has had this
problem.

Hi NB,

Does the file have a password? There is a known error with Project 2002
and password protected files although I am not aware of a similar issue
with Project 2003. Which Service Pack do you have applied to Project?

NB,
Project does have a limit of 1 million tasks although I'm not sure that
is what the message is referring to, and the number you mention is
greater than that. I am not aware of any limitation on the text in the
Notes field, but I guess at some point there will be a limit, probably
based on your RAM.

However, if Julie's suggestion doesn't pan out, I suspect you have
gotten some corruption in your file. I suggest you go to our MVP website
at: http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm
and check out FAQ 43 - File Bloat? might be corruption.
