I cannot Open a specific Contact in Outlook

For some reason I cannot Open my Outlook entry. All other Contacts will Open
so I can see the Notes re that Contact.
I've tried exporting to an xls file but there are only a few entries.
Very troubling because this is my own with a lot of important info in it!
Help!

What version of Outlook? What exactly happens when you try?
