Mysteriously, access to incoming e-mails, unread e-mails and folders
created within my mail has disappeared. Currently, I view a blank Mail
Main Identity. The only message I see is from the Microsoft Mac Team -
Welcome to Entourage X for Macintosh and new mail can't be downloaded.
How can I get back to the Entourage used prior to this mess? I would
appreciate your assistance.

I am having the same problem and although I found the tech support
letter that should address this and followed the directions it has not

SYMPTOMS
When you open Entourage, your e-mail messages, your address book
entries, or both may be missing.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if the original Office 2001 Identities folder is
no longer in its default path.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, return the Office 2001 Identities folder to its
original path:
1. Close Entourage, and then use the Sherlock or Find File utility to
search the hard disk drive for the Office 2001 Identities folder. The
default path is
Macintosh HD
ocuments:Microsoft User Data:Office 2001 Identities
If the Office 2001 Identities folder has been moved from the default
path, Entourage automatically creates a new, blank Office 2001 folder.
2. Delete the new folder from the default path, move the original
folder back to the default path, and then reopen Entourage.
3. On the File menu, click Switch Identity, and then look in the
Identity box to see whether Entourage has created a new identity. If a
new identity is present, delete that identity before you attempt to
synchronize any information.
