I can't add music to PowerPoint presentation. I do Insert>Movies.

I have only added music to a presentation once and it worked fine. I did
another presentation and used the method above. When I do that it takes me
to My Music folder. There are folders listed with the various artists, but
when I click on them there is nothing there. If I change from sound files to
any files, all of the music comes up with the Windows Media Player icon but
the song will not insert from that as I don't think it recognizes it as a
sound file. I also tried a System Restore to the date when I created my
first presentation with music as I thought maybe something changed in my
system but that didn't help either so I undid that System Restore.

What sort of files are they? (WMA, MP3, etc.) And second where did they
come from? (Possible DRM issues.)

After reading through many of the other questions and responses, I think you
may be right. They are WMA files that I have either purchased from
buymusic.com or ripped from my own CDs. I read in one post that if you have
Windows XP and have downloaded the Security Pack 2 these types of problems
are possible DRM issues. I am able to play them with Windows Media Player
but I can't insert them in the ppt presentation.
