I can't block a junk email sender

The sender's name comes over as DOCTOR. Every time, the message comes though
with a new email address, i.e. DOCTOR ([email protected]). The next day it
is DOCTOR ([email protected]). I tried adding DOCTOR to the junk email list,
but it doesn't recognize it because there is a new origination email every
day. Is there anyway to tell Outlook to block all DOCTOR (*.*) emails?

Thanks.

Now you see why the Blocked Senders blacklist is worthless unless the sender
is so stupid as to always use the same e-mail address. Spammers don't.

You could define a rule to look for "doctor" in the sender's name to see if
it detects those mails; however, anyone sending with "doctor" in their
sender info will get treated the same way. For example, if you saw an
optometrist and they sent you a reminder e-mail for an appointment addressed
from "Eye Doctors <[email protected]>" then you'll do the same to their
mail that you do to the spammer sending as "... Doctor ...".

Why not start using some decent spam filtering software? Lots of it is
free. I use SpamPal (http://www.spampal.org) and it has a Bayesian filter
(which can include the headers, too) along with several other methods of
detecting spam, and it is free. However, I would recommend to NOT include
the headers as it is highly likely, especially after several repeats mails,
that the spam source is already known or will be detected when delivered.
