I cant see the export import option in File ?

I want to export a contact file from my Outlook and for some reason cant find
the export import option in the FILE it was there prevoiusly any ideas

Where are you looking and in what version of Outlook?
This item is in the File menu of any folder, not in the address book.
If you lost it, run a Detect and Repair.

Ok run detect and repair still no joy can I re install Office ? with out
losing my data

Try renaming outcmd.dat with Outlook closed, then restarting Outlook.

Ok all sorted re loaded Outlook from disc and all is back to normal

Try renaming outcmd.dat with Outlook closed, then restarting Outlook.
