I can't unprotect my form

I've created a simple form in Word 2000 with option
buttons, text form fields, and tables etc...

I saved and closed the document after I protected it, and
when I opened it again the protect/unprotect button is
greyed out. I can't figure out how to unprotect it again.
It seems that once I protect and close, that's it! No
more changes. This can't be right, What am I doing wrong?

Hi Daric,

Using the Control Toolbox and not the Forms toolbar, I take
it?

The problem is that you have macro security set to "High".
You need to have it at "Medium" and enable macros for this
document in order for ActiveX controls to function.
