i cant veiw powerpoint presentations

when i click the slideshow button in powerpoint the presentation comes up as
a minimized program at the task bar and i cant see it

In PowerPoint go to Slide Show > Set Up show and set the Display monitor to
Primary. I'll bet you've got it set to a secondary monitor that isn't
connected.
