I edited and saved an Excel attachement, how do I retreive it?

I had opened an Excel attachement that I had sent and not relaizing it later
did considerable editing to it and then saved it with control S and then
closed it. Later when I went to my original document and I found it unchanged
I realized what had happened. How can I retreive the edited attachement which
appears to be in c:/Documents and settings/edjackso/local settings/temporary
internet files/OLK25. OLK25 is hidden in Windows Explorer.

You can try searching your hard drive for a .xls file that contains some bit
of text that you think will be there. There's no guarantee that you will be
able to locate the file but it's a start.

And the next time you get an attachment, save it to your hard drive *first*,
then edit.

F

FRUSTRATED TO THE BITTER END!!!

actually you can unhide the specified folder that it is referring to. go to
tools/the folder options/view. and unhide system files and folders.

make sure that you go back to that and re-hide them again.

Hope that helped.
