I get an error when trying to duplicate a contact (16006)

Since SP2, I cannot duplicate a contact. This is the error message I get:
"The action could not be completed
An unknown error (16006) occurred"

I have also had trouble starting Entourage, but a rebuild seems to have
helped that issue.

The 1600x series of errors is generally about Entourage not being able to
communicate correctly with the Database Daemon to load or save e-mail item
data. If a rebuild helped the issue of booting, but not fixed the contact
duplication, it may not have fixed some corruption in the database related
to contacts.

Can you drag a contact to the Finder? Can you open contacts dragged in the
Finder in Entourage?

Here's my workaround, I drag the contact to the desktop, then double click
it to open, then make changes and save, drag contact off the desktop to the
trash.
