I have lost a month of email when I wastrialing 2008 Entourage Evaluation

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

I was trialing 2008 for 30 days then there was a gap of a couple of days where I had to go back to 2004 then I bought 2008 and cannot find where 1 months of emails have gone when I was using the new version - can you please help me find them

I suspect you have created multiple identities in the process. Check in
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data and you should find the identity for
2004 and 2 for 2008.
The full version probably reimported the e-mails from 2004 and ignored
the other 2008 identity.
Try to see if you can switch to the other identity from within 2008 and
export everything from there to reimport back in your regular identity.

Thanks for your answer however I don't have 2 x 2008 entities just one - is there any other way I can find that one month evaluation information?

If you don't have another Identity in the Office 2008 Identities folder,
then the only other option is to try and salvage your data from the
Spotlight cache files.

"YOUR USER FOLDER/Library/Caches/Metadata/Microsoft/Entourage"

Look for a second Identity. It should have been named "main" by default.

Did you check the trash?

Do a system wide search for "Main Identity" (without the quotes). If you
don't find it, then your mail is gone.
