I have modified my contact form and want to update all exisitng contacts

is there a quick way to switch existing contact
information from a previous version of the contact form to
a customized form? Or do I have to manually re-key all the
information?

If you change the MessageClass of all items in your contacts folder to the
new custom MessageClass of your custom form that would take care of it. See
