I have Outlook 2003 and cannot do a find on a recently added contact. I know
the contact is in there but "Find will not find it." The contact list is
quite extensive.

How do you know it's there if you can't find it? Try a view that sorts the
contacts alphabetically by File As. You should find it easily then.

I can browse to it. For instance I create a contact "Jaime Smith" and save.
I then browse to it and I know it is there but when I click the "find" and
type in Jaime it will not find her.

I can't reproduce this. Sorry.

Never post your real address in an newsgroup unless you LIKE junk mail and
viruses, unless your mail client can handle well.

If all you are doing is using the simple find command, results will vary
considerably depending on which field you are searching. For more reliable
results use Advanced Find. Also, try your simple find after a restart.
