* *I may have deleted my "Microsoft User Data" folder from My Documents.

I was using my laptop for sometime without restarting it. Days or even weeks would have past since the time when I may have deleted the M.U.D. folder. I emptied my trash because I had large files sitting in there and then I restarted my computer.

Once it rebooted, my Entourage opened on start up (as normal) and my heart nearly stopped when I say that everything was gone. EVERYTHING. I know I must have had something to do with this but Im not 100% sure about that.

I searched in spotlight and found all my old emails and 500 contacts I had accumulated. I tried to open them and I keep getting the message: File not found, it may have been moved or deleted.

I anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's possible you found your Entourage cache files for Spotlight.

You need to search for "database" or "Main Identity" or "Office 2008
Identities".

If they are gone, take this as a lesson to backup your data. We cover
several options here.
