Priscilla,
You will need to find a copy of your version of Office thru a reseller or
site such as e-bay. Microsoft no longer produces replacement installation
media for Office 2000 as has been posted in the group for sometime. Related

I lost office 2000 cd, but I have my product key. Please help.

As was pointed out, Microsoft no longer supports Office 2000. Check
online or a warez group in usenet and download or buy an illegal copy,
install it with your key. Since you legally own the product, here's
one example where an illegal copy is perfectly OK!

You can also borrow Office 2000 from someone else and make a copy of
the CD for yourself, again, since you purchased it legally that's OK.

Email me at (e-mail address removed). I may have a CD of Office 2000 that my
company no longer uses that you can use to re-install your software. I need
to know the version though. If you have the key, all you need is the media
to be able to re-install your Office product.

Generally this is true, if you can find a version of Office 2000 that is
prior to the sr1a release. This:

will become more and more important in the future to discourage the very
option that was suggested.

Huh? If he has a valid Product Key he can use any Office CD of the same version
on Earth to install his S/W. I'd be happy to send him a copy of my old Office
2000 Pro CDs if that's the version of his PK. There's no issue with
validation, and his installed copy of Office 2000 is perfectly legal. Nothing
on any MS CD ties it to a specific PK. There is only an algorithm that checks
for the correct version.
