I need an Enterprise Project Expert

B

Bella

I am the Project Administrator and I'm looking for someone to come to our
office and sit with me and go over everything that has been set up and how we
can do things better. We have the Enterperise 2003 verison of Project
(integrated with Outlook). Can you recommend a company or individual? I
need a EPM certified partner ( a real project guru). I am located in
Burlington, Ontario Canada.

Thanks,
Bella

When you say you have the Enterprise 2003 version, are you saying you have
Project 2003 Professional and Project Server? Or when you say "integrated
with OUtlook" do you mean you're using the Workgroup tools instead of
Project Server per se? I'm located in Hamilton but I'm not a server guru.

Steve,

We have Project 2003 Professional and Project 2003 Server (Service Pk 1).
We are not using the work group tools for outlook, but rather the project
server. Do you know of any EPM certified partners or could you be what I'm
looking for?

Thanks,
Bella

To tell the truth, I'm not aware of the existence of an "EPM certification"
as such. If you'll drop me an email (remove the obvious from my return
address) we can get in touch and discuss your needs. I might be able to
help out with general PM issues and MS Project but as I said I'm not a
server guru and don't pretend to offer any expertise in that arena. At any
rate, I'll be happy to discuss your needs with you and if I can't help
myself perhaps I can suggest some other folks who might give you insights on
a Server expert to bring in if that's more your concern.

Bela - Try either one of the following - they are both VERY GOOD!

1) Gerry Grennan @ PCubed (www.pcubed.com)
2) Boris Bazant @ QuantumPC (www.quantumpm.com)

Both are located in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) - I have experience with
both firms.
