I need help with formula

I have a huge spreadsheet that I am typing dates into from past years. Is
there an easy way to tell certain cells that they are 2003 or 2004 so when
for example I tell the cell 2/11, it won't pop up 2/11/08 automatically it
will pop up 2/11/03 instead? I have to change year dates about 3-5 times
during this and there are probably 2000 entries I need to make before the day
is through and an easy formula would sure help, can anyone suggestion
something to get me started?

Not really. Assuming that your data is contiguous, you could just enter all
your data as 2008, then go back and do a REPLACE of 2008 with the correct
year for that particular data.

If you are entering them as Excel dates, then you don't need to enter
all parts of the year. For example, 2/11/3 would be taken as 2/11/03,
and 5/1/6 would be taken as 5/01/06.

Also, if the date relates to the current year you can omit that, so
that 2/11 would be taken as meaning 2/11/08.

Only a small saving in keystrokes, but one worth remembering.

Hope this helps.

You could always change the date on you computer's clock. Just remember to
change it back afterwards.
