I need to change POP/SMTP settings - can I automate/partially automate this ?

I need to change the POP and SMTP srvrs on over a hundred client
machines.

We use Entourage from Office 2004 and X in some cases, so is there an
easy way to change those attributes ?

The Mac OS is 10.4 and some 10.3...

In E2004 (and maybe in X, I don't recall), you can get and set servers for
an account using an AppleScript. I'm not sure that will help a whole lot.
You'd need to install the script in Entourage Script Menu Items on each
machine. Doing that, and then running the script, would probably require
more time than just opening Account Settings in the Entourage menu and
changing the servers there. The only advantage I see is that you could
hard-wire the server addresses in the script.

Thanks Allen,

Any idea where I might find that script ? I have done a number of
searches for that exact thing with no luck - so far ! Now I have an
idea it's out there I search a bit more !
