I need to restore some contacts. Help me!

I have a small business and accidentally deleted about 50 Contact
records. Fortunately I had exported my contacts as a back-up just a
few days before. I would have thought that I could have used Import
to bring the contacts back in, but that doesn't seem to work. It says
the format is incompatible.
I hope there's a way to import the contacts back in from the export
"back up" file.
Please advise.

Can you let us know more specifically where it's failing and what the error
is? I presume you're going to File:Import:From a text file:contacts. Then
what happens.
