I need to total minutes into hours. (example: :30, :45: 15 = 1:3)

How do you total minutes up ... into hours/minutes?

Example:
:30
:45
:15
should equal 1 hour and 30 min (1:30), but I can't seem to figure it out.

First of all, enter the times as:

A1 = 00:30
A2 = 00:15
A3 = 23:50
A4 = sum(A1:A3)
Now select A1:A4 and click on on Format>Cells from the menu.

Under the Number tab, choose time and select something that looks like
"37:30:55" or anything that starts with a number with a number greater than
24.

Now, A4 will contain the sum in hours.

Alternatively, you could click on on Format>Cells from the menu.

Under the Number tab, choose Custom and in the text box enter "[h]:mm:ss".

Drop the ":ss" if you dont want seconds.
