I want to be able to create a S/shee to tell me how many Male Dept Heads I have

If anyone is able to help I need to be able to:
Select Column A and if any of the cells contains "DH" then
I want it to check column B. If it has a "1" in column B,
I want it to add up the figures in Column B.
I want to be able to tell how many "Female or Male" Column
B, "Department Heads" Column A, I have working for me.

All I want to say is thank you. It works. First I
thought it didn't but that was because I set up the
parameters incorrectly.
