I am an Australian and US english does differ with my own. I am able to
change to australian english but this seems temporary as it switches back to
US english in about 30 second. This is frustrating. eg. US=color AUS=colour
..Please do something.

Which application(s) are you having trouble with, and where did you switch
the language?

I have same problem in Word.
Set Language, choose Aus Eng, click Default. Changes back next document or
even when moving cursor down.

My fix is to select all, then Tools, Set Language, Aus English. However,
this doesn't always work.

I have set the Regional Settings as Aus English.

Hopefully someone else will pop in with information. I don't know much at
all about how Word handles language settings.

Sounds to me as if the default language isn't set to Aus. English somewhere.
