I want to make OE newsgroup exclusive

Hello, I have just come thru replacing my old hard drive that crashed with a
(s.m.a.r.t.) type of error, and I want to again setup OE to only accept
newsgroup messages. I remember setting a flag in either OE or Outlook 2000
that allows the application to not accept any normal emails from my ISP, but
I can't remember the value. Can someone help?

Just don't configure a mail account in Outlook Express. Tools-> Accounts
