I want to use Entourage networked on at least 2 machines - PLEASE HELP

I have entourage 2004 on a machine at work, but want it to work on 2 or
3 macs in seperate rooms. If I enter a contact or calander event on my
machine, I want it to also to be saved to the other machines as well.
If I collect an email, I also want it to be visible in the inbox on the
other machines. In other words I want Entourage to be networked over
say 3 computers. I've looked at entourage help and it mentions
"Exchange Server" but I'm not sure what this is or if I have to buy it.
I'm getting really confused. In Layman Terms - Could someone point me
in the right direction.

If all three computers have access to a shared drive or folder and all are
running Entourage 2004, you could use the Project Center feature in
Entourage. Read the Project Center topics in Entourage Help for more
information on getting started. Then, you can choose to share your project,
save it in a shared folder, and subscribe to it on the other machines.
