Identity and messages update

I´ve searched the net over and over, several times, but still cant find a
solution to what causes the "identity and messages are being upgraded" every
boot.
It takes a couple of minutes and the computer is almost impossible to use
during this time.

I´ve rebuild the database.
I´ve deleted all the accounts and created new ones
I´ve uninstalled office and installed again.

NOTHING works.

Its so frustrating.

I have done all that except the firewall thing wich I dont have to since its
not active. (allow all incoming connections).

Hi Jan and Martin,

this is a problem that has been affecting some users, but not others, and
the solution mentioned on the Entourage Help Page may not work for either of
you. I'm curious about the statement you (Jan) made about Time Machine; is
the Entourage database, or its parent folder, the Microsoft User Data folder
(in ~/Documents) part of your Time Machine backup? If it is, open System
Preferences and choose not to back up this folder. See if this makes any
difference.


Happens as well when I change my time machine backup disk to another hard
disk.
