I have downloaded the update but it won't install. it says it could
not locate the correct verision of the software required to install
update. It then sees to see the read me file which says
This problem about can't find application to update has shown up but with no
clear answers. Try using "Remove Office" then using your CD to install then
update.
There was a change in the database during an early 2004 update that changed
the database requiring the update to open the database.
You might need to download the combo updater from Apple and run it again
rather than using Software Update. Doing so overwrites potentially
problem-causing files. Several users have reported this fixed some odd
problems they were having with Entourage. Combo updaters will install on the
same version as they¹re applying‹no need to roll back or do a clean install.
The combo update installer updates Mac OS X 10.4, 10.4.1, 10.4.2, 10.4.3,
10.4.4, 10.4.5, 10.4.6, 10.4.7, or 10.4.8 to 10.4.9.
