I have Outlook 2002 SP3 on a Windows 2000 Professional machine. Until a
few days ago, every time I checked my inbox or clicked a hyperlink,
Outlook would say: "This operation has been cancelled due to
restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator." I followed Microsoft's instructions for importing a
registry key from another computer, as described at
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310049&sd=RMVP.
It did fix my problem! But now I have a new, perhaps related problem.
Every time I look at my hotmail inbox, a separate internet explorer
window pops up, displaying this file: C:\Documents and
Settings\my_name_here\Local Settings\Temp\olr658.tmp.html. How do I get
this to go away?
I did a search and found that this question had basically been asked
once before, but nobody had answered it.
Thanks for your help.
