We are currently using a POP3 service and are considering Exchange server.
Reason: When sending an e-mail using Outlook 2000, if one of the addresses
(whose domain is being hosted by the same ISP as our company) in a
distribution list has an error on the name side of the address, then none of
the e-mails in that transmission will be delivered.
However, if the error is on the domain side “or†the address is not being
hosted by the same ISP as our company, then only that recipient’s message
will not be delivered - all other recipients will receive the e-mail.
Question: How will Exchange deal with such a scenario?
