Illegal Software?

You are either thick or you are trying to push the site that is selling the
illegal software.

Which one are YOU.

I sometimes get offers by email to buy Microsoft Office
2003 for ridiculous prices; anywhere $60 to $100. I think
that these must be illegal copies? Are these legal?

Here is one website that is currently advertising this.

Below are two quotes from their FAQ page should be telling enough.
This is pirated software that has been cracked.

Quotes -

"Our site is a warez shop..."

"Note, that you will not be able to register the software with the
manufacturer and get their support..."

In short, you get what you pay for. Caveat emptor.

I read the Faq. To me it sound like a government or Microsoft trap.
Especially the way that site is designed. If you order, don’t be
surprised if you get a knock on your door.

I would never give out my credit /debit card number to place like
that.

However, In most credit card and debit card agreement you agree not to
purchase or use it for illegal stuff knowingly.

Which is why I surprised sites like these take credit cards.

Note-Some people don't even know that is illegal.
