As a relatively new user of Mac (Panther) and Entourage with Office
vX, I am puzzled that my email program does not recognise a dash ("-")
as a valid character. The spell-check cannot recognise it and the
receiver of the email sees that character as something else. Why does
this happen? Can I correct it? Also, the spell-checker will pick up
some errors and not others. Is this an endemic problem or do I have a
software fault of just my own?
