Images don't appear

I am having an issue whre images don't appear on the slide in show mode. If
you go back a slide and then forward, they appear. I intially thought it
might be a problem with the new laptops we're using, but it also happens on
our older laptops, which never had that issue before. All of our laptops
have been upgraded to Office 2003 from XP. All are running XP Pro for the
operating system. The older laptops are Compaq Evos w/ 2 GHz PIIIs and 512MB
RAM. The newer laptops are HP nc8000 with 1.5GHZ P4s and 1Gig of RAM.
Has anyone had this problem? Or any suggestions? THanks in advance.

Have you updated the graphics drivers on the new laptops? According to the HP
website there is a new driver that was released on 6/14/04 and a previous one
dated 3/10/04. Your symptoms point to the graphics driver, so that is where I
would start.
