IMAP Emergency

Ok. I have a nightmare I am trying to deal with. I had a POP/IMAP
server go belly up. Now there are about 8 days not on the backup.
Most users are fine, a few are not, they were IMAP.

Is there anyway to recover IMAP messages that are dumped as soon as the
computer relogs into IMAP? I am using Outlook 2003 and 2002. They
were fully downloaded messages, and not just headers.

Thanks!

Rob.

You might be able to move the messages from the IMAP store to folders in
your regular PST file while you're offline from the IMAP server then move
them back into the IMAP store once the server's back online. Never tried
this before so your mileage may vary...

No one told me it was restored to an old date, and so as soon as they
went online, outlook removed the messages.
