Import Distribution List

I have received a distribution list as an attachment in an email. The icon for the attachment appears as a Business Card with the profiles of two users in the upper left corner. I can open the attchement which then appears as a typical distribution list. However, when I attempt to save it, I am uinable to find it in my contacts list or global address list in order to use it. It is as if it is not being saved.

Outlook 2000.
