Import mbox? Don't understand

I have os x 10.4.6. I have entourage x version 10.1.6

I have backed up my MUD...
I have deleted all my inbox in one mud. I want to move just the inbox mail
from the backup to this identities.

I have an mbox on my desktop, but don't know how to get them where I want
them.

I read that you cannot import from the same version to the same version.

What do I do?

Hi Janice,

your post is very confusing. How many identities are there? Do you have
backup files from several MUD folders, or do you actually have .mbox files?
And no, you cannot import an Entourage 2004 identity through File>Import,
but that shouldn't really matter if you are dealing with a simple .mbox
file. In that case, simply drag it into Entourage's folder list, and it
should show up as a folder, with all the messages inside. If that doesn't
solve your problem, you'll have to post back and give us more details.
