import old identity into entourage 2008

I have just installed Office 2008 in German and would like to import my identity from my older version, Office X into Entourage, but the files in the "Main Identity" folder remain gray in the import window so I cannot select it. Is this because my version of Office X was in English and now I have switched to the German software? I just can't figure it out and its very frustrating since I have no access to my mail and contacts now!

My team is investigating this issue about not able to import Entourage v. X
identity to Entourage 2008. We couldn't reproduce this problem in-house. If
anyone sees this problem, please contact me and I will work with you on
