I am trying to import a few hundred e-mail addresses from an Excel
file. There are two columns, name and e-mail. The names are in Greek
and I use unicode fonts. When I save as CSV or tab-delimited text
format, the greek text is lost. Saving as "Unicode Text (UTF-16)", I
get a plain text file with all the characters appearing OK and I can
open it with TextEdit, where it looks exactly as a tab-delimited file.
However, when I try to import to Entourage address book (or into the
mac Address Book) the file is not recognized as valid. Is there a way
to force this file to open or a script that will import the
tab-delimited text?
