Importing A Distribution List

Someone e-mailed me an Outlook distribution list....it is in 2 formats:

..msg and .rtf

How do I turn that into an Outlook distribution list without having to cut
and paste each contact one at a time?

I have searched MS knowledge base and this forum to no avail....am I just
dumb or can this be done?

Thanks in advance,

Ron

Sorry for the cross-posting...I am desperate

Have them send it to you as an Outlook Item in a message in RTF format. All
you have to do is open it and save it to put it into your Contacts Folder.

Also, when you open the msg file, do you not have a Copy to Folder...
command in the File menu?

An easier way of doing it is to drag the ".msg" file containing the
distribution list directly to your contact file assuming you have selected a
"view" that includes "Outlook Shorcuts". Was going nuts trying to import
from desktop to laptop. To send a dist list go to contacts under Outlook
Shortcuts and double click the desired list, then select "Actions" on the
toolbar and forward to yourself/whoever you wish and it can then be dragged
directly to the Contacts folder under Outlook Shortcuts.
