Importing addresses from Apple Address Book

Hi all,
I am a fairly new Mac user, and I just got Entourage. I have been using
Apple Address Book to keep all of my contacts. I would like to get all of
those contacts into Entourage, but see no option for exporting from Address
Book, or for importing in Entourage. Does anyone have any experience with
this?

just open Entourage, go to file, then import, choose import from a
program, press continue, choose Apple mail, then continue.......

Hey, thanks for the response. I went through those menus before, but it
only gives me the option of importing accounts, messages, rules, and
signatures. I selected all of them, but nothing but the account data is
transferred. I think I may be able to get all the data over the Entourage
through my Pocket Mac software and get it off of my handheld. If anyone
knows of any other way to do it through Entourage, I would appreciate the
info.

To import contacts from Address Book into Entourage, drag them to the
Desktop, and then drag them into the Entourage Address Book window. Beware
that not all fields will transfer correctly using this method. For a
transfer that preserves more information, use Paul Berkowitz's "Sync
Entourage-Address Book" script. It is not free, but it does include a free
trial period.
