Is there any way to import addresses from a text file directly into a
Group. Imported addresses seem to be 'dumped' into address book,
and I then have to copy/move individual addresses into the group.
What would make it a little easier for you would be to make a Custom View
for
ˆ Contacts (only)
Criteria:
Date Modified is 0 days old
After you import your new contacts, go to that custom view. Click one
contact, press command-A to select all, then command-click any that don't
belong in the group to de-select them. Then click the "Add Group" button in
the toolbar. Voila! A new group is created. (If you want to add them to an
existing group, open that group first before going to the custom view, then
select the new contacts and drag them into the group window.
