Importing an excel contact file into entourage contacts

Save the Excel file as Text (Tab-Delimited) in Excel's File/Save As menu.
Then you can import the tab text file via Entourage's File/Import/Contacts
from a text file. You'll be able to match up fields.

Note that Entourage can't import Categories this way, and there will be
problems if any of the contact notes in Excel contain carriage returns.
There are ways of getting these two features using my Export-Import
Entourage scripts, but if you're just interested in importing contacts, the
"regular" method is usually sufficient.
