Importing and reading .msg files

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

I was sent some e-mails from my university with attachments in .msg file formats. Unfortunately, I can't open the attachments on my Mac.

Is there anyway of opening these attachments? I don't have access to a PC, so I won't be able to open and convert these files to PST format.

Any help and/or advice will be appreciated.

Entourage should be able to open the files; if it doesn't work, try to open
them in Word or Text Edit by going to file and open in the programs.
