Importing categories from 2000 to 2002

Does anyone know how to import a custom master category
list from Outlook 2000 into 2002? The registry key that
2002 uses is a binary key, where 2000 used a 'string'
key. This seems to make the import/export function not
work...
I tried to do it in the registry as well, but since 2002
uses binary.... there's nothing I can do there.
