I am having trouble importing contact info from Entourage into
Earthlink Web mail. the directions say I need to export the data into
a CSV file which I did but then I get an error message when I try to
import it. Earthlink customer service was no help. I looked at the
posting from this group in April, but it had a link that was no longer
active. Can anyone help me?

They might need to have the CSV in Windows format. You could try opening it
in Excel and then saving it as CSV (Windows). If that doesn't help (but it
should), you could try my Export-Import Entourage X scripts using
Contracts-Groups Export from X, then the EvX Contacts to Outlook converter.

I had tried saving the data in a CSV Windows format but that didn't
work either. I will try your scripts. Thanks.

Have you found a solution yet? I have been on with Earthlink and they
are useless. I did try the following - I created an excel spreadsheet
with 3 columns: First name, Last Name, Email. I saved that as CSV file
(doesn't seem to matter if you save it as windows or mac). And it did
import. However, the only columns that imported were the First name
and Last name columns and put them under NAME in their web mail
address book. the email address was blank. I have tried other
version of spelling and capitalizing the name columns and they don't
work - only First Name, Last Name, works. Therefore, I can only
assume that the title of the column, "Email" is inaccurate and it does
not read that column. However, Earthlink cannot give me the exact
spellings of the column headers or if the email address should be in
quotes (ie, '[email protected]') or what. Any more help would be greatly
appreciated.
