Importing data from Entourage 2001

Importing data for Entourage:

I installed the new Entourage X. I tried to import the data from
Entourage 2001 from within Entourage X, I followed the instrutions on
Entourage X to the dot, but I cannot do it. I went to Entourage 2001
and cannot find any of my old emails there. What happened? Help!
