importing emails from Mail 3.4

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

I currently use Mail, ical, address book, etc., but I need a more robust PIM program and have installed Entourage 2004, but can't figure out how to import all my emails from Mail. None of my emails are store on the server, but are all on my MacBook. Any suggestions?

What happens when you select File --> Import --> Another application -->
Apple Mail?

If this fails, you should be able to export Mail to MBOX files. Check Mail's
Help.
